I've spent the past couple years building with AI. Real tools, for my own work and for businesses' actual problems. What I've learned is that AI is a tsunami, not a wave. I started Raven's Quill to help small businesses ride it, with the people who work there and never instead of them.
There are a lot of people with an AI subscription offering to build tools right now. What I enjoy most about this work happens before anything gets built: the detective work of figuring out how a business really runs day to day, then thinking about it in new ways, borrowing ideas both new and old, and putting it back together into something that works well and gives people their time back. My favorite outcome is someone spending most of their day in their zone of genius instead of buried in office work that no longer needs to be theirs.
If your company runs EOS or works from a strategic plan, I start from your rocks and annual goals. My job is to support those goals with an eye on the long-term vision.
Outside of work, I've finished a 120,000-word novel and traveled to every U.S. National Park, and there's not much I enjoy more than a long project I get to see all the way through. I run my life on systems and process, and I love working with people who approach life and business the same way.
